Tape Library is a very important term in Information storage industry and in simple term’s, Tape Library is inventory of magnetic tape cartridges and tape drives, which are needed for storage purpose. And in a automated Tape Library you will also find a robotic arm which is used to mount and dismount the tape.
As per Wikipedia “In computer storage, a tape library, sometimes called a tape silo, tape robot or tape jukebox, is a storage device which contains one or more tape drives, a number of slots to hold tape cartridges, a barcode reader to identify tape cartridges and an automated method for loading tapes (a robot).”
